Blue Class
Age 3 by September 1st
The Blue Class is a welcoming atmosphere for newcomers and seasoned nursery school veterans. The Blue Class meets for a minimum of three days a week, and up to five days a week.
All classes are held in the morning from 9:15-11:45 a.m.
Independence
Learning to separate from parents and caregivers is an important component of the 3-year-old curriculum. Our activities, equipment, and play stations are designed to keep your child engaged in an atmosphere that encourages physical and emotional independence.
Art & Music
Weekly music and gym classes are introduced this year and led by our specialists who create age-level games and lessons to challenge and interest our little ones. We also gather every day as a class for story time.
Group Play
Children will find manipulatives of many sizes and shapes, an imaginative play area and an art area in our classroom. We work with our young learners to develop their social skills and their abilities to negotiate, accommodate, and empathize with others. We try to enhance self-esteem, as well as sensitivity to the rights of others.
Creative learning in a social and fun environment
“The most fun part of the day for me is greeting the children as they come into the classroom. They’re not yet involved in play, so I get to enjoy little conversations with them as they change into their “school shoes” and wash their hands.
